Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge

This is the sketch for Craft Project Central’s “Creating Pretty Cards” challenge this week.  You can see the sketch, Christy’s tutorial and other examples here.

The card I made for the sketch was on my blog yesterday for the blog hop. I was going to make another one today, but woke up to a wet basement instead. It was just wet – not “standing water,” thank goodness, and nothing got ruined. Still, it cut into my craft time a little. (OK, a lot!) So here’s my version of the sketch challenge – again!

This is my “Rachel & Stephee” card. I have the best daughters-in-law in the world. Well, my mother-in-law has a pretty awesome one, too. (HA! See what I did there?)

Mike just brought the mail in, and I had a wonderful surprise. I’ll post it tomorrow!
