Seize the Cake

I love this card idea.  It has everything – shopping, cake, fun – and, really, it doesn’t have to be for a birthday.  It can be for any day, because every day is a cause for celebration, right?  It reminds me of the stories of people who save their “good” china, crystal, and silver for special occasions.  Every day should be a special occasion, I think.

I used the Everyday Adventure Project Life card collection and accessory pack for this card, as well as the In this Together stamp set, On Film framelits, Word Bubbles framelits, and the Something To Say stamp set.  It all really worked together, I think.  I used the Blendabilities markers to color the shopper, and they’ll be available in late June or early July.  If you sign up to be a demonstrator, you can get them now – and now’s a great time to join!  You can get a smaller starter kit for $50, as well as the standard $99 kit.
